Rainbow Land Nursery School & Kindergarten is a Non - Denominational, Multicultural Private School. Rainbow Land caters to children from 16 months to 4 years old with strong security presence. Rainbow Land has been in operation for 25 years. Patrice ‘Pat’ Peralto and Odette Khoury are the proud owners of this exceptional and extra-ordinary school. Rainbow Land moulds the mind of many children’s fundamental learning years in Jamaica and from all over the world. They prepare each child for higher learning. The school has maintained an astounding reputation for being able to deliver excellence at all levels. Rainbow Land’s students are their testimony, as past students continue to soar and make them proud when they graduate and enter the Elementary Schools, High Schools and even at the University level. Their Academic Foundation is comparable to none.

What makes Rainbow Land different and unique to all the others? For starters, Pat and Odette have implemented their own unique educational program. Both ladies are ‘hands on’ actively involved not only in the operations of their school but in the day to day teaching. Rainbow Land has an open door policy where parents are welcome to come in and observe all areas of our program either by sitting in with their child or observing through the two-way glass without their child seeing them. At Rainbow Land, parents are educated or enlightened about positive parenting and healthy eating which is linked to effective learning. Rainbow Land works tirelessly with parents in guiding them at every level to help them become better parents, while assisting each parent to become more involved at every level of their child's development. This becomes a priceless and unique bond with each parent, student and the school. 

Pat and Odette have been making a positive difference in the lives of children and parenting for longer than 25 years as both of them have taught at Hillel Academy. They individually have a wealth of teaching experience in North America where they were professionally trained prior to opening their own school in Kingston, Jamaica. Being a wining-combination, Rainbow Land's pleasant and exceptional staff goes through a rigorous training program conducted by Pat and Odette. This enables each member of staff to comply with the school’s extra-ordinary standards. Additionally, all staff is certified by the Early Childhood Education Commission of Jamaica.Parents leave their precious ones in the care of Rainbow Land feeling a strong sense of security and comfort knowing that their child is undoubtedly safe, happy and in the arms of loving Teachers known to each child as “Auntie’ as Rainbow Land becomes their second home, away from home. 

Class sizes are designed to be of small and limited numbers. Each student benefits from a low student / teacher ratio of one teacher per seven children. This allows each child to move at their own pace depending on their age, co-ordination, language skills, maturity, readiness and a number of other factors. The Rainbow Land program takes each child over the Rainbow, mentally stimulating them all the time and exposing them to the colours and the wonders of the World around them so that they are constantly enjoying learning through play interaction. Their Academic Program includes Mathematics (Number Skills), Phonics, Reading, Writing, Science, Spanish and we are currently setting up our very own Computer Room which will be incorporated into our program. Their diverse Language Arts Program includes Music with Percussion Instruments, Puppetry, Art & Crafts, Dance with our trained and talented Dance Teacher who hails from the Tivoli Dance Troupe and Football with Jamaica's Professional ‘Ballaz’ Coaches.

Rainbow Land is well renowned for their Concerts that take place throughout the year and the many Field Trips that further expose and educate the Children in a more practical way. School Hours are from 8.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

For parents, who requires a longer day for their child, there is an excellent After Care Program from 1.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. which includes a hot meal and juice. After School Activities includes Kid’s Yoga by one of Jamaica’s best – Shakti Yoga. Gymnastics by Coach Nishida, Swimming in our very own Pool located on the School property by Coach Arrianne, all of which are known for their excellent programs. Rainbow Land has dynamic Kiddies’ Camps during Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays which attract Children not only from Rainbow Land, but also from other Schools and Countries whose families may be visiting Jamaica during these times.
